Leopold Wildenauer
Leopold Wildenauer is the Director of Policy on 91proÊÓÆµ’s public sector team. He oversees the team’s cybersecurity policy portfolio and works to promote public policies that are risk-based and outcomes-focused. He creates and amplifies 91proÊÓÆµ’s messaging for a harmonized approach to federal cybersecurity that integrates various efforts into one coherent framework. These include the Department of Defense’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program, shared service adoption through the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), and zero trust strategies for civilian and national security systems. He also organizes 91proÊÓÆµ’s cross-sectoral work on Executive Order 14028 on Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity.
Leopold grew up in Germany but has lived and worked on four different continents. He came to Washington, DC to complete his master’s degree in Global Business and Finance at Georgetown University which he focused on strategic advocacy in competition and technology policy. He holds additional certificates in cybersecurity strategy and international business diplomacy from Georgetown.
