Areas of Expertise:
House Democrats, telecom, trade, energy, environmental issues
Vince Jesaitis came to 91proÊÓƵ in May of 2010 as director of government affairs focusing on telecommunications, trade, energy, and environmental issues, as well as other policy issues affecting the high-tech sector. In that time, Vince has worked on two issues that have been signed into law; the spectrum auction provisions in the Middle Class Tax Relief Act of 2012, and the Responsible Helium Administration and Stewardship Act of 2013.
Vince began his political career interning in Congress for U.S. Representative Dennis Moore (D-Kan.) in 2002 before moving on to work for U.S. Representative Gene Green (D-Tex.) in 2003. He spent nearly eight years there, the last three of which he served as Legislative Director. In that time, Vince covered most issues that came before the House Energy and Commerce Committee. He specialized in telecommunications policy and legislation for a member who was active in expanding broadband deployment and access, as well as protecting and promoting a robust investment environment for broadband service providers. Vince was serving as legislative director to Green when he served on the subcommittees where both the Affordable Care Act and the American Clean Energy and Security Act originated. Vince also staffed Rep. Green as a shared committee employee while he was Chairman of the House Committee on Standards of Official Conduct.
Vince is originally from Brookfield, Missouri, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from William Jewell College in 2001. Vince is an Arlington resident and in his spare time he enjoys being a father and being active, including competing in the 117th (2013) and 118th (2014) Boston Marathons.
