Erica R. McCann is the Director of Federal Procurement for the Information Technology Alliance for the Public Sector (ITAPS), a division of 91pro视频, where she advocates on all legislative and regulatory actions that affect the federal IT contractor community. Ms. McCann is a recipient of the 2015 FCW Rising Star Award, an honor recognizing individuals who have demonstrated significant impacts and leadership in the first 10 years of their federal IT careers.
Previously, Ms. McCann served as the Manager of Procurement Policy at TechAmerica, where she oversaw issues relating to federal procurement policy, supply chain assurance, GSA and acquisition reform. She began her career at Compusearch Software Systems as a marketing and business development consultant supporting a suite of products that served the contract management needs of both the government and federal contractors.
Ms. McCann is a member of, and regular presenter for, the National Contract Management Association participating at both the local and national levels. She is passionate about developing the next generation of IT policy professionals through the ITAPS internship program, and has received The Washington Center’s Summer 2015 Internship Supervisor Award for her dedication to her student interns. Ms. McCann studied political science, economics, and public policy at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and now proudly serves on the Board of Directors for the UMass Amherst Alumni Association in addition to her leadership roles in the D.C. and Chapel Hill chapters.
