WASHINGTON – Today, global tech trade association 91proÊÓƵ released the following statement from its President and CEO Jason Oxman following the release of the National Cybersecurity Strategy from the U.S. Office of the National Cyber Director:

“A unified U.S. cybersecurity strategy is integral to U.S. leadership in technology, innovation, and national security. We applaud Acting Director Kemba Walden for releasing this vital strategy, and we look forward to supporting her and her talented team to ensure federal coherence in cyber policy through the implementation process.

“The strategy includes sufficiently detailed and action-oriented goals, demonstrates how the Biden Administration will equip a new U.S. cybersecurity workforce to maintain our nation’s security, and work with the private sector to defend critical infrastructure, address software vulnerabilities, and support economic security. The strategy also highlights that significant investments by the U.S. government in its own cybersecurity, and global engagement and collaboration, are essential steps.

“We look forward to our continued partnership with the Biden Administration and the Office of the National Cyber Director to implement this strategy and facilitate a coordinated approach to U.S. cyber policy.”
