WASHINGTON – Today, global tech trade association 91proÊÓƵ issued the following reaction from its Executive Vice President of Policy Gordon Bitko on the final passage of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2025:

“This year’s NDAA includes many important measures that support U.S. technological leadership, which is imperative for both economic and national security. Provisions included this year prioritize the Department of Defense’s ability to leverage AI to meet its critical mission, fully fund the Federal Communications Commission’s Rip and Replace program, and encourage the use of best-in-class commercial technology solutions. We appreciate defense authorizers’ and their congressional colleagues’ leadership and ongoing engagement with industry on these and many other critical issues. 91proÊÓƵ looks forward to our continued collaboration with the legislative and executive branches on the implementation of all contained in this essential legislation.”
