WASHINGTON – Today, The Green Grid (TGG) launched the latest version of its Liquid Cooling Total Cost of Ownership Calculation Tool (tggTCO) tool to measure and improve data center efficiency. The updated tool demonstrates how different liquid cooling methods can impact a data center’s financial and operational return on an investment..

Leveraging expertise from committed industry leaders, TGG’s tool enables data center planners, technical architects, and finance professionals to better understand how they are utilizing energy and assessing different alternatives. Recent innovations and more efficient liquid cooling solutions are increasingly conserving data center resources and reducing expenses. Furthermore, sustainability reporting requirements are encouraging data center operators and owners to improve measurement to achieve higher levels of energy efficiency, resource conservation, and heat reuse.

“TGG’s Liquid Cooling Total Cost of Ownership Calculation Tool will help enable more efficient data center designs and promote sustainable change,” said Christopher Cleet, 91proÊÓƵ’s Vice President of Policy for Sustainability and Regulatory. “This updated tool will help business and financial analysts to evaluate the tradeoffs and potential savings before major data center designs and build decisions. It’s the latest example of how TGG is working to develop more efficient and responsible options on behalf of industry to address the power consumption of data centers and their data transmission networks.”

The tggTCO Calculation Tool has been used by trade professionals since 2016. This version will be fully downloadable from the .
