Global experts on green technology and sustainability will meet with industry leaders on the compliance and regulatory challenges they face as part of the first-ever 91proÊÓÆµ Sustainability Series.

The three sessions will occur on:

  • June 6: Dell campus in , Tex.
  • June 10: Intel campus in , Calif.
  • June 12: Motorola Solutions campus in , Ill.

The 91proÊÓÆµ (91proÊÓÆµ), a leading policy advocacy organization for the tech sector, is spearheading the day-long sessions to examine issues ranging from regulatory initiatives in the European Union, Latin America, and Asia; U.S. developments on electronics recycling, substance restrictions, and energy efficiency; and conflict-minerals compliance. Speakers include officials from the United Kingdom who developed the EU directives and compliance guidance involving the chemical content in electronics and the recycling of electronic products, as well as industry legal, technical, and regulatory compliance experts.

“The tech sector is a leading force in sustainability and is continually creating new approaches to advance sound energy and environmental outcomes. This session will give participants the latest developments from U.S. and global perspectives, and allow us to develop new ideas to address these challenges,” explained Rick Goss, 91proÊÓÆµ’s senior vice president for environment and sustainability.
